Accurate Numeric Display Of DC Voltage, Adjustable & Optional Control Function

Overview

The DC voltage meters TQZN-12 and TQZN-24 are used as battery charging / discharging level indicators (BDI) for electric vehicle / vessel, battery charger, solar power generating system and other battery power (DC source) driving / conserving systems.

With a high capacity MOSFET output (maximum current rated for 4 amperes), these meters offer additional control function to users, helping to realize the automation of system.

TQZN-12 and TQZN-24 are adjustable for setting the low voltage (empty level, OUTPUT ON) and high voltage (full level, OUTPUT OFF), typically applied for switching automatically on / off a DC relay. Four options are available:

• Type 0: no output.
• Type 1: only over-charge protection. The output is switched on when the voltage is higher than the high voltage setting. Typical application: battery charger, DC power converter, communication system / remote control system DC source, etc.
• Type 2: only low voltage protection. The output is switched on when the voltage is lower than the low voltage setting. Typical application: electric vehicle / vessel.
• Type 3: both low-voltage and over-voltage protection. The output is switched on when the voltage is lower than the low voltage setting, and the output is switched off when the voltage is higher than the high voltage setting. Typical application: photovoltaic battery charging / discharging controller.

Adjusting:

• When the power is switched off, press down the button and hold it.
• Switch on the power, and release the button. When the voltage display flashes, the meter is in the setting mode.
• Press down the button and release it, each press increases 0.1V of the voltage setting. Keep pressing and releasing the button, till get the expected value.
• Press down and hold the button till an alarm sound, then the meter is in operation mode.
